Action line 2: Thematic Working Groups and Workshops

The objectives are:

• - to exchange Best practices;
• - to confront problems emerged during RPIAs realisations;
• - to Improve interregional dialogue - in particular between more developed and less developed regions - in order to develop more efficient regional and interregional policies;


• - to involve key actors in the implementation of development policies in order to increase innovation know-how in particular in the sectors related to the 3 strategic themes proposed by European Commission for Innovative Actions programming period 2000-2006;


• - to disseminate the TWG results through the organisation of specific Workshops

CoorIInna has decided to set up 4 Thematic Working Groups:

• 1. Research, innovation and transfer governance in the context of the Devolution Process
• 2. Innovative Process and local governments enabled by Information and Communication Technologies
• 3. Research Innovation and technological transfer in the biotechnologies field


• 4. Best Practice Database Elaboration

The network will advertise workshops organised by each partner region which focus on innovation themes.
